The mist-shrouded mountain landscapes surrounding my home in Takashima give me inspiration to make my table ware and flower containers. I attempt to combine selected elements of classic Asian art with the practical lessons of function and integrity absorbed from my early experiences and training in North America. This is the essence of my approach to ceramic art.
